Texts as alternative to textiles
For several years now, I have been deeply interested in learning how to write. I’ve participated in various writing workshops, both online and in person across different places. My most rewarding classes were led by Mariona Fernández at the wonderful Talleres Islados—which I highly recommend to anyone who loves literature and philosophy and speaks Spanish or Catalan.
Most of my short texts and poems are accompanied by photographs that illustrate the subject. These photos were taken either by me, my late father, or my friends. One year, I even compiled the writings from a specific workshop into a printed booklet, which made a wonderful gift for friends.

Living in Spain, I mostly write in Spanish—my favorite language, which I began learning at the age of five. A few days ago, however, I thought it would be a great exercise to translate my writing into English, my second foreign language. This allows me to share my work with a broader audience on this blog. Recently, I’ve even started befriending artificial intelligence to serve as my editor and teacher. I truly enjoy collaborating with this invisible extension of my mind, as it reaches far beyond my physical boundaries.
The stories posted here don’t follow any strict temporal or geographical order; I’ll be adding them as they come to mind. Some are quite personal, many were written as part of writing workshops, and others stem from my own observations and memories. I hope you enjoy reading them, and if you feel inclined, I would love to receive your feedback!
